While the content of your tour is entirely down to you we have come up with the following suggestions for you to consider including in your tour:

Experience the local food, try a trip to the fish market where you can pick your fish and have it cooked to order right there straight from the sea! If you like a bit of spice visit an Egyptian Koshary restaurant for that authentic meal or visit a local bakery to see how the delicious local flat bread is made. The street food, seeds, nuts and fresh fruit are also not to be missed.
The City Mosque and the Christian Church are both impressive and imposing buildings worth a tour both within and without. You could choose to visit the more tourist designed areas of the New Marina and the Sheraton Street shops or you could venture to the older traditional area of El Dahar with our guide in tow to show you the ropes with the locals in the markets.
The sunset views from the highest point overlooking the city are stunning and not to be missed but by far the most Egyptian thing you could partake in is to soak up the café culture, try a shisha, play a game of backgammon or dominoes and talk to the locals over a leaf tea or freshly brewed coffee.
